Type of Minor Surgery Procedures

Type of Minor Surgery Procedures performed at Moxley Medical Centre:

Any patient requiring a minor surgical procedure must be seen by a Doctor/ ANP first and, if suitable, will be referred to the Minor Surgery clinic. The Surgery will then contact you to book you into the next available clinic.

We sent all specimens to the hospital for histological diagnosis. All procedures are performed under local anaesthetic, which numbs the area. The lesions are then either shaved off or excised (cut out). Dr Vitarana will be supported by a Health Care Assistant during the procedure.
